Back to School Bash at SkyWheel
Join us at SkyWheel Myrtle Beach on Saturday, August 15th, from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. for an afternoon celebrating local educators and students as they prepare for a new school year. The event will feature discounted SkyWheel flights, mascot appearances, giveaways, special food and shopping offers, a school supply drive and plenty of family-friendly fun along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
Special Offers
Educators can enjoy a free flight on the SkyWheel throughout the event by presenting a valid school ID at the onsite ticket booth. It’s our way of thanking local teachers and school staff for everything they do to support students throughout the year.
From 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., students can ride the SkyWheel for just $10 when they show their school spirit by wearing school colors, a school logo, uniform or team jersey. Additional verification of current student status may be requested when purchasing tickets.
Offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. Tickets must be redeemed on site.
Help Us Collect School Supplies
As part of the Back-to-School Bash, SkyWheel will collect new school supplies to help local students begin the year with the materials they need to succeed. Additionally, all guests can also recieve a $10 ticket by bringing one or more of the following items:
- Pencils
- Markers
- Colored pencils
- Glue sticks
- Clear backpacks
- Wide-ruled composition notebooks
- Highlighters
Donation boxes will be available at SkyWheel throughout the event, making it easy to drop off supplies before or after your flight. Additional information about the local organization receiving the donated supplies will be announced soon.
Food, Shopping and Giveaways
The celebration will continue at LandShark Bar & Grill with special food and drink options created for the event. Guests can also stop by the retail store to take advantage of exclusive shopping discounts while enjoying the afternoon along the Boardwalk.
A limited number of swag bags will be available to event guests while supplies last. Be sure to arrive early so you can enjoy the giveaways, mascot appearances, special offers and everything else happening around the SkyWheel.
