14th Annual Surfside Rotary Turkey Trot

Surfside Pier, Surfside Drive and Ocean Boulevard

November 23, 2023 | 8:30 to 12:00 pm


The Surfside Rotary Club’s annual Turkey Trot is one of the area’s largest races. Participants can opt to run a 5K, 1-mile or 10K course along a scenic beachfront course through the heart of Surfside Beach. Also, kids are invited to run for free in the one-mile fun run! All participants will receive a T-shirt and award medals to the top 3 finishers in each race.

17th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot

Valor Park at The Market Common

November 23, 2023 | 8 to 10:30 am


The Valor Park Race is a 5K or 8K run/walk through Myrtle Beach. The race starts and finishes at the beautiful Valor Park in Market Common. All proceeds we raise will go to a local non-profit, Help 4 Kids. This local non-profit seeking to help children and families in need. You can register to participate in either 8K, 5K, or one-mile races.

39th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta

Intracoastal Waterway from Little River to Dock Holidays Marina

November 25, 2023 | 5 to 7 PM


Intracoastal Christmas Regatta is a beautiful holiday parade that is a must-see in Myrtle Beach. This exciting event is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and features boats decorated in holiday themes as they sail by various vantage points along the Intracoastal Waterway. Families and friends gathered to watch are sure to get a kick out of seeing all of the unique creations! The party starts at the Little River Inlet at 5 PM and travels south, arriving at Dock Holidays Marina at 7 PM.

If you’ve been trying to find the perfect place to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner in Myrtle Beach this year, look no further. Broadway at the Beach will be offering a delicious feast at their on-site restaurant, The Hangout. With options such as sweet potato casserole, and candied bacon deviled eggs, we promise you won’t leave hungry! The only downside is that seats are going fast so make sure you book soon before they sell out.

Chestnut Hill Restaurant

From 11-6pm on Thanksgiving Day

Chestnut Hill will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving feast from 11 am to 6 pm on Thursday, November 22nd. The buffet will include foods like roasted turkey, sweet potatoes, cornbread stuffing, and cranberry sauce. Other seafood entrees are also included in the price of the buffet. House of Blues

November 23, 2023 | 11 AM – 5:30 PM

The House of Blues in Barefoot Landing will be offering a family-style Thanksgiving dinner filled with Southern classics and holiday favorites. Plus, catch live music featuring The Mike Duva Duo.
