EDS & HSD Awareness

SkyWheel Myrtle Beach will shine in black and white to raise awareness for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD). These rare genetic connective tissue disorders affect the body’s ability to produce strong collagen, leading to a variety of challenges, including joint instability, chronic pain, and skin that’s hyper-elastic.

This lighting initiative is a reminder of the resilience of those living with EDS and HSD and the importance of education, diagnosis, and support for these conditions. We stand together with the EDS and HSD communities to promote awareness and understanding.
