National TAR Syndrome Awareness

In support of National TAR Syndrome Awareness, SkyWheel Myrtle Beach will light up blue to raise awareness for this rare genetic disorder. TAR Syndrome, or Thrombocytopenia Absent Radii Syndrome, affects the development of bones in the arms and legs and can lead to low platelet counts. Individuals with TAR Syndrome face unique challenges, but with the right care and support, they continue to show resilience and strength.

This lighting initiative serves as a reminder of the importance of raising awareness for rare disorders and fostering a more inclusive community for those living with TAR Syndrome.
